Common questions
Can I bring my Anki decks?
Yes. Drop in an .apkg or .colpkg and we keep the scheduling and review history, so you carry on where you left off instead of restarting every card.
What happens to my cards if I stop paying?
Nothing disappears. Your cards stay readable and you can export them to Anki at any time. You just can't run new reviews until you resubscribe.
Is the dictionary really free?
Free forever, with no account needed. Pro adds the study system on top, with saving words, reviews, progress, and the AI assistant.
Can I use my own dictionaries?
Yes. Upload your own Yomitan dictionaries and they sit alongside ours in lookups, in the extension, and on the cards you build.
Does it work on all my devices?
Your account works everywhere you sign in, including the web app on any device and the browser extension on Firefox and Chrome. Reviews sync across all of them.
How does the free trial work?
14 days, and we don't ask for anything to cancel, just one click in your billing settings. If you cancel before it ends you're never charged.
